This Eclipse MK2 60 mm spacer is an adjustment component for compatible lift-and-turn compression latches. It is used when mounting on hatches, floor hatches, doors, bulkheads, and similar installations where there is a need to adjust the clearance around the locking mechanism.
The spacer is made of plastic and features an open, ring-shaped design. The grooved design has markings that allow for cutting or reducing the part according to installation requirements. This allows for individual adjustment to different hatch and bulkhead thicknesses.
This variant has a nominal diameter of 60 mm and is documented as compatible with Eclipse MK2 latches with item no. 38.161.01 and 38.161.02, as well as the lift-and-turn compression latch with item no. 38.152.40. The compatibility applies specifically to this 60 mm variant.
For the same Eclipse MK2 latches, the angled arm with item no. 38.161.81 is available. The spacer with item no. 38.161.91 is a separate 75 mm variant and is not a direct replacement for this model.
