The Eclipse MK2 flush-mount Lift & Turn compression latch is a key-operated SMALL variant for hatches, doors, cabinets, and deck installations. The outer diameter is 60 mm, and the flush-mount design provides a smooth surface when the ergonomic handle is folded down.
The Lift & Turn mechanism is operated by lifting and turning the handle, which releases or locks the cam with compression against the underlying structure. The handle can rotate 360° and be folded down at 90° intervals. A visual indicator shows whether the latch is open or closed.
The latch is made of mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel and is intended for flush mounting in a Ø50 mm hole. It fits a panel or bulkhead thickness of 3–26 mm, while the threaded shaft and ergonomic adjustment nut provide an adjustable grip range of 22–94 mm. The nut facilitates calibration and allows for emergency opening from the rear.
A universal straight cam, an angled cam, an adaptable plastic spacer, and a key are included. The cam can be mounted in two positions, and the straight cam is also suitable for closing sliding doors. The straight cam has an overall length of 80 mm, while the angled cam has an overall length of 88 mm and an angular offset of 26 mm.
The construction is described as waterproof, but the product has no documented numerical IP rating. Compatible spare parts include straight cam 38.161.80, angled 60 mm cam 38.161.81, and spacers 38.161.90.
