EmpirBus™ SP8 & SP12 switches are digital switch panels developed for EmpirBus control, monitoring, and power distribution systems on board. This variant is SP12 mounted horizontally with a screen, providing extra overview and intuitive operation directly from the helm or an interior technical room.
SP12 with screen has a 10x2-way configuration, where the switches function both as control inputs for the EmpirBus system and simultaneously provide clear visual feedback via individual LED indicators and the integrated screen. This ensures that you can quickly read status, functions, and alarms, even when navigating in the dark or challenging conditions.
The panels can be mounted horizontally (landscape) or vertically (portrait), and installation is made simple with the included mounting template. SP12 is designed for interior mounting, where it fits perfectly into modern marine installations, while SP8 can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Both panel types support custom switch labels, backlighting for night use, and clear alarm indications, so critical events are detected immediately. The construction is robust and marine-grade and intended for stable operation in temperatures from -20 °C to +55 °C.
