EmpirBus™ SP8 & SP12 switches are digital switch panels that function as control and status interfaces in EmpirBus control, monitoring and distribution systems. The panels provide the user with intuitive control of system functions, while status and alarms are displayed directly via individual LED indicators at each switch.
SP8 is an 8-way switch, which can be mounted both indoors and outdoors, while SP12 is designed for indoor mounting and is available in two configurations: 12x2-way without screen or 10x2-way with integrated screen. Both panels can be mounted vertically (upright) or horizontally (flat), which provides great flexibility in cockpits, helm stations or technical rooms.
When the SP8 is mounted externally, it is IP67 waterproof from the front, and the front plate is UV-stable, so it can withstand harsh maritime environments. Both panels offer custom text labels, backlighting for night use and clear alarm indications, so critical events are detected quickly.
The construction is robust and reliable, designed for continuous use in temperatures from -20 °C to +55 °C, making SP8 and SP12 ideal for both recreational and professional vessels, where reliability and overview are essential.
