This Coastlight III life raft in a hard fiberglass container from Eurovinil has a capacity of 12 people. It is intended for Italian-flagged vessels and navigation within 12 nautical miles of the coast.
The life raft is supplied packed in a hard fiberglass container. The container protects the packed raft and is suitable for permanent exterior mounting, where a soft valise would be more exposed. Inside the container, the raft is protected by a robust, vacuum-sealed bag.
The packed life raft measures 74 × 52 × 26 cm in the hard container and weighs 53 kg. The dimensions refer to the container with the packed raft and not the inflated size of the raft.
The model is manufactured in accordance with the Italian decree of March 2, 2009, for life rafts for sailing within 12 nautical miles of the coast. The first service must be carried out 36 months after purchase, after which servicing is performed every 24 months. The gas cylinder must be hydrostatically tested at least every five years.
For mounting on deck or bulkhead, the separate mounting kit with item no. 22.711.02 can be used. The kit includes brackets, heavy-duty polyester straps, and stainless steel quick-release hooks and buckles.
