This IP44 shore power adapter from CEE to a combined Schuko/Italian socket from Fanton Optimus makes it possible to connect a device with a standard household plug to a 16 A CEE female socket, for example at a shore power pedestal. The adapter changes the plug connection but does not convert the voltage.
The input consists of a blue CEE male plug with 2P+E, 16 A, 230 V, and 6h clock position. The enclosed P40 female socket supports both German Schuko plugs and Italian bipasso plugs. The adapter is intended for 200–250 V AC at 50/60 Hz and has one outlet.
The grey housing opens so that the device's existing plug can be inserted directly into the socket. The housing is then closed around the plug and cable. The patented rear closing and cable clamping system mechanically secures the cable, while the rubber cable sleeve protects the cable exit and contributes to the seal. The installation is screwless and does not require cutting off the device's original plug.
The adapter has an IP44 protection rating and is rain and splash-proof when the housing is correctly assembled and closed around a compatible plug and cable. The socket features safety shutters and shielded brass contact bushings. A separate cable is not included.
The housing is made of reinforced technopolymer with self-extinguishing and impact-resistant properties. The adapter measures 189.2 mm in total length and has a maximum width of 58 mm at the CEE plug section. The net weight is 153 g. The product is CE-marked and manufactured in Italy.
The adapter is suitable for marinas and other installations with 16 A CEE outlets, including campsites, markets, events, and construction sites. It is not intended for 32 A, 63 A, 110 V, or three-phase supply.
