This fixed polyethylene blackwater tank has a capacity of 86 l and is designed for the collection of blackwater and sanitary wastewater in marine toilet and sanitation systems. The rigid tank measures 1000 × 350 × 320 mm and features a hull-fitting chamfer, making its shape suitable for installation against a sloped hull profile.
The tank is molded from thick polyethylene. The heavy-duty construction is designed to minimize the permeation of unpleasant odors from the tank contents.
On the tank ends, there are internally threaded connections in sizes 3/4" and 1 1/2" for filling, emptying, and venting. The product-specific design also includes marked connection positions in sizes 1" and 1 1/4". The installation must be adapted to the chosen piping, venting, and emptying solution.
A 120 mm inspection port provides access to the tank. There is also a prepared position for a level sensor; the level sensor is not listed as part of the delivery.
The tank is certified in accordance with ISO 8099 for marine sanitary waste systems. The maximum height is 320 mm, while the height at the lower, chamfered part is 230 mm.
