This Faston terminal is designed as a loose, uninsulated male terminal for a modular, waterproof connector. This variant is intended for 8/10 mm² cable cross-sections and is part of a separate 2-pin connector system.
The terminal is a single system component and does not in itself constitute a complete or waterproof connector. It is mounted in a suitable connector housing together with a cable seal corresponding to the cable cross-section of the conductor.
A complete 2-pin connection is assembled from female connector housing 14.230.10, male connector housing 14.230.20, two male terminals, two female terminals, and four cable seals. For a connection with 8/10 mm² cable, this male terminal is used together with female terminal 14.231.30 and cable seal with gasket 14.232.02.
The connector system is available with terminals and seals for both 4/6 mm² and 8/10 mm² cable. Always choose terminals and cable seals according to the cable cross-section used in the installation.
