This Faston female contact for waterproof connector system is a separate electrical contact terminal for cables with the designation 8/10 mm². The contact is part of a modular, 2-pin connector system, where connector housings, Faston contacts, and seal inserts are selected and purchased separately.
The item is one individual female contact and therefore does not constitute a complete connector. The waterproof connection is only achieved when the contact is installed in the appropriate connector housing together with a seal insert that matches the cable cross-section.
For the 8/10 mm² version, the corresponding Faston male contact with item no. 14.231.40 and the seal insert with item no. 14.232.02 are used. The documented 2-pin connector housings in the system have item numbers 14.230.10 and 14.230.20.
A complete 2-pin connection consists of the relevant connector parts, two male contacts, two female contacts, and four seal inserts. This item is supplied as one Faston female contact; other system components are not included.
