Grease-impregnated packing for stern tube seals made from a blend of cotton, hemp, and Teflon fibers for high density and wear resistance. The packing has a square cross-section and is designed to ensure water tightness at the propeller shaft stuffing box/black jack.
The packing material is installed in short segments, with each segment joined to form a complete ring for optimal sealing and function. Primarily used for shaft stuffing boxes on ships and boats. The long-fiber material composition provides flexibility and durability, while the Teflon content reduces friction during use. Available in various dimensions for shaft diameters of 18-25 mm, 25-35 mm, and 40-60 mm.
