Quicksilver water separating fuel filter 35-802893Q01 is an original spin-on filter element for external filtration of gasoline on compatible outboard engines as well as MerCruiser stern drive and inboard engines. The filter separates water and retains fuel-borne impurities before they reach the engine's fuel system.
The filter element has a proven filtration rating of 25 microns. It is intended as a replacement filter for Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboard engines with an externally mounted water separating filter base as well as compatible MerCruiser installations.
Compatibility does not include the 1992 MerCruiser 4.3L Gen II with inline fuel filter, 1.6L Vazer, or 3.0L MPI. Therefore, always check the engine model, serial number, existing filter base, and part number before ordering.
