This Finder 2″ marine compass with mounting bracket is a compact magnetic steering compass for navigation on motorboats and sailboats. This variant features a white housing, a blue compass card, and a visible compass card diameter of 50 mm.
The compass card is graduated in 5° intervals, while the red lubber line makes it easy to read and maintain a course. Integrated magnetic compensators can be used to correct compass deviation, which may arise due to magnetic interference on board.
The gimbal suspension allows for a maximum tilt of 15° for this variant. The design is also suitable for high-speed vessels, where the compass must remain readable while in motion.
The housing is made of ABS and comes with a mounting bracket for surface mounting. The compass measures 64 mm in total width across the bracket and 74 mm in total height including the bracket.
The integrated 12 V DC LED lighting makes the compass card visible when sailing in the dark. The lighting requires connection to a 12 V system.
