67 mm surface-mount marine compass is a fixed magnetic steering compass with a black housing and black compass card. It is designed for mounting on top of a flat surface, such as a dashboard or steering console.
The compass features a visible compass card with a diameter of 67 mm (2⅝″). The compass card is graduated in 5° intervals, while the red lubber line makes it possible to read the current heading. The variant is supplied without illumination and without magnetic compensators.
The housing is made of ABS and has a maximum outer diameter of 97 mm and a total height of 73 mm. The gimbal suspension allows for a maximum tilt of 30°, allowing the compass card to move in relation to the boat's heel and motion.
The design is suitable for use at high speed. The surface mount makes the compass suitable where a fixed steering compass is desired on a horizontal or similarly flat mounting surface without recessed mounting.
