This Fire Port with hose nozzle is a 90° angled fire extinguishing access point with a Ø38 mm hose nozzle. It is used to feed a hose or pipe into a closed engine or tank room, allowing extinguishing agent to be supplied without opening the compartment itself.
The port is activated by pressing the PVC membrane. After use, the mechanism can be reset without replacing any parts, making the port ready for continued use.
The 90° angled design allows for the connection to be routed along the installation where a straight hose nozzle is not suitable. The hose nozzle is designed for a Ø38 mm hose or equivalent pipe, and the installation depth, dimension E, is 80 mm.
The fire port can be mounted on a wall or bulkhead, as well as in a floor or deck. It serves as an access point and feed-through for fire extinguishing and is not a fire extinguisher itself.
This variant can also be used as a 90° hose nozzle component in the complete Fire Port hatch with item no. 17.683.01.
