This FLAT vandal-resistant push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel with LED ring is a round, panel-mount switch for 12 V DC systems. This variant features a red LED ring and a momentary (ON)-OFF function with a maximum load of 20 A at 12 V.
The momentary function means the circuit is only closed while the button is held down. When the button is released, the switch automatically returns to OFF. It can therefore be used for functions that only require brief activation, such as a horn, electric toilet, or blower, provided the installation's electrical data matches the switch.
The housing is CNC-machined from AISI 316 stainless steel and has a flat, round front with an outer diameter of 22 mm. The switch has a total depth of 37 mm, an M19 × 1.0 mounting thread, and is installed in a round Ø19 mm panel hole. Connection is made via flat terminals.
The IP67 rating makes the switch suitable for exposed panel installations and provides protection against temporary immersion. The patented construction is specified for 20,000 contact cycles.
The LED ring can be connected in two ways: it can light up constantly, or it can be configured to light up only while the switch is activated in the ON position. A pre-assembled wiring harness, item no. 14.215.20, is available as an optional accessory for quick installation and LED configuration. The kit features 15 cm cables and can also be used to connect the 12 V switch to a 24 V power supply. A set of 40 backlit, scratch-resistant, and waterproof labels is available separately under item no. 14.215.25.
