This FLAT push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel with LED ring is a flat, illuminated switch for 24 V marine installations. The variant features a momentary (ON)-OFF function, a maximum load of 10 A, and a white LED ring around the push surface.
The momentary function means that the ON position is only active while the push button is held down. When the button is released, the switch returns to OFF. The switch is therefore suitable for circuits where a function should only be activated briefly.
The housing is CNC-machined from AISI 316 stainless steel. The IP67 enclosure rating provides protection against temporary submersion, and the mechanical life is rated at 20,000 activation cycles. The FLAT family has a patented design.
The LED ring can be connected in two ways. With connection diagram A, the ring lights up constantly, while diagram B makes the ring light up only when the switch is activated in the ON position. This allows for a choice between permanent orientation lighting and indication of the activated function.
The switch has an outer diameter of 22 mm and a depth of 37 mm. The mounting hole diameter and terminal type are not specified. A label set with item no. 14.215.25 is available separately and contains 40 backlit marine function labels for FLAT switches in the 14.215.xx family.
