This FLAT push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel with LED ring is a panel-mounted, momentary switch for 12 V DC electrical installations. This variant features a white LED ring, a current rating of 20 A at 12 V, and (ON)-OFF switching logic.
The momentary function keeps the circuit in the ON position only while the button is pressed. Once released, the button automatically returns to the OFF position. The switch is therefore suitable for functions that only need to be active during manual operation.
The housing is CNC-machined from AISI 316 stainless steel and features a flush FLAT button surface. The front diameter is Ø22 mm, and the total depth including terminals is 37 mm. The terminals protrude 10.2 mm from the rear of the housing, and the terminal arrangement measures 12.2 × 8.8 mm. The switch is mounted in a panel using an M19 × 1.0 thread and secured with a nut from the back.
The IP67 rating protects the switch against temporary submersion. The documented lifespan is 20,000 switching cycles, and the construction features a patented design. On the rear, there are four flat terminals for electrical connection.
The LED ring can be wired in two ways: it can either illuminate constantly when the power is connected, or light up only when the switch is activated. The pre-assembled wiring harness (item no. 14.215.20) supports both connection principles and can be used when the 12 V switch is to be integrated into a 24 V power supply. The nominal rating of the switch remains 12 V and 20 A. A set of 40 backlit marine labels is available as item no. 14.215.25.
The switch can be used in 12 V electrical systems in, for example, boats, motorhomes, and other vehicles, provided the load does not exceed the specified current capacity.
