This FLAT push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel with LED ring is an illuminated and waterproof panel switch for 24 V DC installations in boats and recreational vehicles. The variant features a blue LED ring and a momentary (ON)-OFF function, which closes the circuit while the button is held down and automatically returns to OFF when released.
The switch is rated for a maximum of 10 A at 24 V DC. The LED ring can be connected according to two principles: either so that it remains constantly lit, or so that it only lights up when the switch is activated. With activation-controlled connection, the ring will therefore only light up while this momentary variant is held down.
The CNC-machined housing and front are made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The flat front has an external diameter of 22 mm, while the total depth is 37 mm. The switch is mounted through a panel with an M19 × 1.0 threaded housing and nut. The rear connection part measures 12.20 × 8.80 mm, and the terminal projection is 10.20 mm.
The IP67 rating provides protection during temporary immersion and makes the switch suitable for exposed electrical panel installations. The electrical service life is rated at 20,000 cycles, and the FLAT construction features a patented design.
A pre-assembled wire harness with part no. 14.215.20 can be used for quick installation or repair and allows for a choice between constant LED light and LED light upon activation. The label set with part no. 14.215.25 contains 40 backlit, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant marine labels for switches in the 14.215 series.
