This FLAT vandal-resistant low-profile push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel is an illuminated momentary switch for panel mounting in 12/24 V electrical systems. The variant features a red LED ring, a rated current of 20 A, and an (ON momentary)–OFF contact function.
The switch is only closed while the button surface is being pressed. When the pressure is released, the spring return ensures that the switch automatically returns to OFF. This function is suitable for installations where an electrical function should only be active during manual operation.
The vandal-resistant housing is CNC-machined from AISI 316 stainless steel and has a flush front with an external flange diameter of 21.8 mm. The central button surface measures Ø13 mm, the shown body diameter is 15.67 mm, and the total axial depth including the terminal area is 24.78 mm. The front flange protrudes 1.8 mm, while the cylindrical body section is 11.8 mm long.
The switch is IP67-rated and is mounted through a panel using a threaded body and lock nut. It can be mounted in panels with a thickness of up to 8 mm. The rear has three spade terminals, and the spade connector width is 4.8 mm.
A compatible pre-assembled connector with item no. 14.315.20 can be used for easier wiring and allows for a choice between LED light upon activation or constant LED light. Connectors with automatic resettable fuses are available as item nos. 14.315.31, 14.315.32, 14.315.33, and 14.315.34 with 5, 10, 15, and 20 A fuse capacity, respectively. The choice of fuse must be adapted to the load and the specific installation.
