This FLAT vandal-resistant push-button switch in AISI 316 stainless steel with LED ring is a low-profile switch for 12 or 24 V DC electrical systems. The switch has a momentary ON function and is only closed while the push button is activated. When the button is released, it automatically returns to OFF.
The CNC-machined housing is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and features a black PVD finish. The construction combines a flat, round design with an IP67 rating and is intended for panel mounting through a round hole. The threaded switch body is secured on the back of the panel with a nut.
The switch is rated for a current capacity of 20 A and functions as a momentary make contact with a normally open contact configuration. The integrated RBW LED ring features red, blue, and white illumination, which is selected via separate color terminals.
The LED ring can be wired to turn on with the load when the button is pressed, or to remain lit constantly, independent of the switch's momentary status. The LED connection is specified as common cathode, but the common terminal is also marked with a plus sign. Therefore, the connection must be carefully checked against the relevant wiring diagram before applying power.
The pre-assembled wiring connector with item no. 14.315.20 is compatible with the switch and features 15 cm of cable, an LED jumper for activated or constant light, and a locking ring. Compatible connectors with automatic reset are available as item nos. 14.315.31, 14.315.32, 14.315.33, and 14.315.34 with 5, 10, 15, and 20 A automatic fuses, respectively. The fuse size must be selected according to the load and the specific cable installation.
