This flexible fiberglass pole with carbon fiber coating for the Mickey bimini system has a total height of 137 cm and is used as a support pole when setting up a bimini, sun shade, or water-repellent cover on a boat. It is part of the self-tensioning, modular, and freestanding Mickey system, which can be set up in various configurations.
The pole is made of fiberglass and coated with carbon fiber. The construction is combined with AISI 316L stainless steel inserts. Please note this is a fiberglass pole with a carbon fiber coating, not a solid carbon fiber pole.
The pole has a diameter of 16 mm and a total height A of 137 cm. When mounted, the net height from deck level C is 129 cm, while the insertion depth D is 8 cm. The documented distance B, achieved by the tilt of the pole, is 34 cm.
The 16 mm diameter fits the Mickey mounting bushings with item nos. 46.825.00, 46.825.01, and 46.825.02. The mounting clamp with item no. 46.825.09 can be used to attach the bimini fabric to the pole. Mounting parts and fabric are not included.
For alternative installations on pulpit rails, the Mickey mounting base 46.825.10 is available for pulpit rails of 30–34 mm and support arms of 25–28 mm, as well as 46.825.11 for pulpit and support arm diameters of 22–26 mm. Both mounting bases support an assembly angle of 45–90° and are separate system components.
