Flexible fiberglass pole for the Mickey bimini system with a total height of 170 cm. The pole is designed as a support pole for the self-tensioning, modular, and free-standing Mickey bimini system, where it is used in the construction of sun or water protection.
The pole is made of fiberglass and coated with carbon fiber. Inserts and end components are made of AISI 316L stainless steel. This combination provides a flexible construction for the system's tensioning principle and corrosion-resistant metal parts for maritime use.
The pole diameter is 16 mm, and the total height in an undeflected state is 170 cm. At the system's documented mounting angle of 15°, a horizontal distance of 43 cm and a net height of 160 cm above deck level are achieved. The pole is inserted 8 cm into the relevant fitting.
The pole fits the Mickey system's built-in bushings for 16 mm poles. The documented bushings with item numbers 46.825.00, 46.825.01, and 46.825.02 can be used depending on the desired deck installation. The fastening clamp with item number 46.825.09 is intended for attaching the bimini fabric to the pole.
For mounting on stainless steel pulpits, the related mounting bases 46.825.10 and 46.825.11 are available. The pole is a separate component in the Mickey system; fabric, bushings, clamps, and other mounting parts are selected according to the configuration of the installation.
