This flexible PVC insert for anodized aluminum rub rail profile is a grey, enlarged variant supplied on a 24 m roll. The insert forms the visible and flexible part of a marine rub rail profile system and is intended for edge and hull protection on boats.
The product is manufactured from flexible PVC. The enlarged version differs from the standard insert and provides the system with a larger profile. The item includes only the PVC insert; aluminum profile and end caps are separate components.
The insert is compatible with the anodized aluminum profile with item no. 44.485.10. This base profile has the nominal system dimensions H 38 mm and A 9+5 mm. The dimensions describe the compatible aluminum profile and not the cross-section of the PVC insert itself.
To finish the profile system, black plastic end cap 44.479.03, white plastic end cap 44.579.03, chrome-plated brass end cap 44.485.01, or stainless steel end cap 44.484.01 can be used. The end caps are not included and must be ordered separately according to the desired finish.
