This flexible PVC insert for fender profiles is the 20 m grey variant for a two-part 55 mm Duralene fender profile system in version D. The insert acts as the flexible outer part of the boat's fender or rub rail profile.
The PVC material is shatterproof and flexible, allowing the profile to be bent without creasing. The construction retains its shape over time and is supplied in a roll, making the long profile easier to handle and fit along the hull.
The insert must be installed into the separate white Duralene mounting rail, item no. 44.055.05. The mounting rail is first attached to the boat, after which the PVC insert is fed into the rail. The rail and insert are sold separately and must be used together to form the complete fender profile.
In its assembled configuration, the system has a height of 55 mm and a rub rail protrusion of 5 mm. These measurements describe the complete system in version D and not the individual cross-section dimensions of the loose insert.
For finishing and assembly, the system can be combined with the white ABS end cap 44.055.01 and the white joint cover 44.042.22. Both parts are intended for the 55 mm system in version D and are ordered separately.
