This flexible PVC insert in black is intended for a two-part Duralene/PVC fender profile system in version D. The insert is supplied as a 20 m roll and is used together with the separate base channel 44.055.05 along the boat's hull or freeboard.
The fender profile is constructed from a white, rigid Duralene base channel and this flexible PVC insert. The parts are sold separately and must be mounted together to form the complete fender profile. The flexible construction allows the insert to be mounted without wrinkling or kinking.
The insert is made of flexible PVC and belongs to version D with a compatible channel height of 55 mm and a system projection of 5 mm. The dimensions describe the associated profile system and are not the insert's own cross-sectional dimensions. The construction is shatterproof and dimensionally stable over time.
The required white base channel has item no. 44.055.05 and is supplied separately in 4 m rods. For version D, there is also a white ABS end terminal 44.055.01 and a white joining cover 44.042.22. A white PVC insert with item no. 44.055.40 is available as an alternative color variant.
