Floating Levilene lifebuoy line is a 30 m long line with a diameter of 6 mm. It is intended for ring-shaped lifebuoys and remains floating in the water, making the line easier to locate and handle during use.
The line is supplied spliced and with a carabiner for attachment to the lifebuoy. The finished splice and the included end fitting make the line ready to be connected to a suitable ring-shaped lifebuoy.
Levilene is used as both the line and material designation. The line is orange and can be used to maintain a connection to the lifebuoy, so that the buoy can be pulled back toward the vessel or rescue site after deployment.
The product is specifically a floating rescue line for lifebuoys. No model-specific lifebuoy is specified, and compatibility must therefore be assessed based on the lifebuoy's attachment point.
