This enlarged PVC insert for fender profile is a black, flexible insert for a modular fender and rubbing strake profile system on boats. It is supplied as a 24 m roll and forms the visible, protective part of the profile system.
The insert is made of flexible PVC and has a specified cross-section of 33 × 21 mm. The enlarged version differs from the system's standard insert and gives the profile a larger cross-section.
The product is compatible with the anodized aluminum profile with item no. 44.485.10. The aluminum profile is a separate system component with an H-dimension of 38 mm and an A-dimension of 9 + 5 mm. The insert is not a complete fender rail on its own, and the base profile and end caps must therefore be selected separately.
For the complete profile system, there is a black plastic end cap 44.479.03, white plastic end cap 44.579.03, chrome-plated brass end cap 44.485.01, and stainless steel end cap 44.484.01. The choice depends on the desired finish of the installation.
