This pre-wired shore power adapter cable connects a 32 A female outlet on the quay side to a cable system using a 16 A male plug. The adapter is 0.5 m long and is supplied fully assembled with three-pin plugs.
On the quay side, the adapter is equipped with a three-pin 32 A male plug. The cable side has a three-pin 16 A female socket with a protective cover. The connection direction is therefore 32 A male on the quay side to 16 A female on the cable side.
The cable has three conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² per conductor. The plug housings are made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and feature a cable gland as well as a built-in cable stop and strain relief.
The plug components used have an IP44 protection rating and are manufactured in accordance with EC/CE standards. The IP44 rating applies to the plug components and is not a separate classification for the complete adapter cable.
The adapter is intended for the transition from a shore power connection with a higher current on the quay side to a cable system with a lower current. It is not documented with a built-in fuse, circuit breaker, residual current device, or other current limitation.
The adapter consists of a 16 A female socket with item no. 14.336.01 and a 32 A male plug with item no. 14.335.02.
