Description

This pre-assembled shore power cable with plug and protective cap is intended for electrical shore and quay power connection on a boat. The cable set is blue, measures 10 m, and is rated for 50 A.

The three-pole cable has a conductor cross-section of 3 × 10 mm² and an outer cable diameter of 19 mm. The conductors consist of stranded copper with high electrical conductivity. The cable's double protective sheath protects against mechanical impact, while the outer sheath is resistant to seawater, corrosion, and oil.

The plug and protective cap are mounted on the cable upon delivery, so the cable set is assembled and ready for connection to the compatible 50 A plug system. The plug is made of polycarbonate and Moplen and has silver-plated brass contacts. The soft PVC cap protects the contacts when the plug is not connected.

The cable component meets IEC 60228 and EN 50363. The cable set consists of cable item no. 14.595.01, plug item no. 14.326.00, and protective cap item no. 14.327.00. The documented compatible counterpart is the 50 A socket item no. 14.325.00, which is not included.
