This full-bore ball valve in AISI 316 stainless steel with internal/internal thread is a manually operated shut-off valve for maritime piping systems. The variant has 3/4" threads at both ends and is used together with components with corresponding male threads.
The ball valve has a full bore and a 2-way female/female configuration. The manual lever operation is used to open or shut off the flow, while the AISI 316 stainless steel construction is suitable for installations where requirements for corrosion-resistant metal parts are placed.
The valve is prepared for possible fastening with a separate bracket. A mounting bracket is not documented as part of the delivery, and the relevant bracket must therefore be selected separately according to the design of the installation.
A 2016 production certificate for the 3/4" variant describes a 2-piece construction with BSP thread, valve body, ball and stem in 316 stainless steel, as well as a PTFE seat. The same batch was classified as PN63 and hydrostatically tested at 10.2 MPa for the valve body and 7.5 MPa for the seat, as well as air tested at 0.6 MPa. These values are batch-specific test data and must not be confused with documentation for the product's continuous working pressure.
Check the thread type, thread size, installation conditions and requirements for the current medium before installation. There is no product-specific documentation available for specific media, temperature limits or a continuous maximum working pressure.
