This full-bore ball valve in AISI 316 stainless steel, female/female is a manually operated shut-off valve for marine piping systems. The variant features 1 1/2" BSP female threads at both ends and connects to pipe parts with corresponding male threads.
The full bore provides a clear passage diameter of 38 mm. The ball valve is opened and closed with a manual lever and has a 2-piece (2PC) construction. The valve body has an overall length of 106 mm with a tolerance of ±1.6 mm.
The valve body, ball, and stem are made of 316 stainless steel, while the valve seat is manufactured from PTFE. This material combination is suitable for demanding marine installations where corrosion-resistant pipe components are required.
The H-dimension in the design drawing is 86 mm from the valve's centerline to the highest point, while the E-dimension is 160 mm. The ball valve is prepared for mounting with brackets; brackets are not stated as included.
The valve has a pressure rating of PN63. Test certificate AV1606069 specifies hydrostatic testing of the valve body at 10.2 MPa, seat and seal at 7.5 MPa, and air testing of the seat at 0.6 MPa. The test pressures are test values and must not be used as an indication of working pressure. The standard reference is EN 10226-1-3.1.B.
