This compact combination unit has many built-in benefits. Easy to mount and even easier to use, it features a bright 4.3" display that's easy to read on a sunny day on the water. It includes a GT20 transducer for traditional Garmin CHIRP sonar that delivers impressive target separation and CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar that provides near-photographic images of what's below your boat. It comes with a preloaded global background map and is compatible with our BlueChart g3 and premium BlueChart g3 Vision coastal charts with integrated Navionics data and Auto Guidance 1 technology. It also features Quickdraw Contours mapping software that instantly creates personalized on-screen fishing maps with 1-foot contours as you fish. You own these maps, and you can keep them private or share them with the Quickdraw Community on Garmin Connect ™ . Plus, you can share waypoints and routes with other ECHOMAP or STRIKER devices. A quick-release mount lets you quickly mount and detach your device from the mount and power supply. Mounting brackets for stern and electric motor included.
The Garmin CHIRP Difference
The built-in sonar capabilities of ECHOMAP Plus 42cv include our CHIRP traditional sonar, one of the most sophisticated sonar technologies for fishing and boating. CHIRP traditional sonar provides incredibly clear target separation and definition because it puts even more energy into the target than traditional sonar. It also provides traditional sonar support for Minn Kota ® and MotorGuide ® trolling motors with integrated transducers.

ECHOMAP Plus with you
When you're out on the water, it's easy to keep your ECHOMAP Plus combo unit well-protected. There's no need to mess with connecting and disconnecting cables from the unit because the cables plug directly into the mount. This allows you to quickly mount and disconnect your ECHOMAP Plus from the mount and power supply.
