EmpirBus™ Connect 50 DCM is a compact and efficient digital control module, developed for smaller and less complex installations of the EmpirBus digital switching system. The device is built on the proven technology of the NXT™ DCM, but in a more space-saving format that provides a highly attractive price-to-channel-count ratio – without compromising on functionality or operational reliability.
Connect 50 is ideal for both new installations and upgrades where full digital control of electrical loads on board is desired. Furthermore, the device can be integrated with other DCMs or master control units, making it suitable as a building block in larger EmpirBus systems.
All outputs are equipped with highly precise current feedback, which provides real-time monitoring of power consumption per channel. The new galvanically isolated NMEA 2000® network connection means that the device does not draw power from the NMEA bus, which increases operational reliability and reduces the load on the network.
Connect 50 is supplied with built-in reverse polarity on 4 channels, making it particularly suitable for controlling tables, hatches, windows, and windshield wipers. Should the installation require more reverse polarity functions, the system can easily be expanded with the Connect HPR™ distribution module.
