Description
SP8 and SP12 are digital switch components for EmpirBus control, monitoring and distribution systems. SP8 is an 8-way switch, SP12 can have a non-screen 12x2-way or a screened 10x2-way configuration. These devices can provide control inputs to the EmpirBus system via the switches - as well as status information back to the user using the individual LED indicators.
The panels can be mounted in either a vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) orientation. Mounting the units is easy using the included template. The SP12 switch is designed to be mounted in an interior space, while the SP8 switch can be mounted either internally or externally. When mounted externally, the SP8 is IP67 waterproof from the front, and the front plate is UV-stable against the harsh conditions of the water. Both the SP8 and SP12 offer user-designed switch explanations, nighttime backlighting and alarm indications. They are robustly constructed for use from -20 to 55 C.
