EmpirBus™ WDU v2 is the intelligent web server unit that enables you to control and monitor your entire EmpirBus digital switching system via a flexible and graphically customized user interface. The unit distributes advanced HTML5-based graphics to any compatible device – including Garmin GPSMAP® touchscreen MFDs, tablets, smartphones, and other HTML5-supporting devices.
WDU v2 makes it possible to create completely customized user interfaces for controlling lighting, comfort systems, navigation, pumps, utility systems, and much more. The interface and functions can be designed freely without graphical limitations, so that the display, status, and control precisely match the vessel's needs – from exclusive yachts to complex commercial vessels.
The unit communicates via the NMEA 2000® network but delivers data at Ethernet speed, ensuring lightning-fast response, smooth graphics, and stable operation. In addition, integrated Wi-Fi® allows for wireless control, so both captain and crew can manage systems directly from compatible mobile devices.
