The GSD 25 is the only networked sonar module with dual-channel 1 kW CHIRP fishfinder combined with ClearVü and SideVü scanning, providing the clearest scanning images on the water. The images sent to your compatible Garmin chartplotter are so clear and separated that you can distinguish even small fish close together at fishing depths as deep as 1500 meters.
True 1 kW CHIRP with two channels
CHIRP is the most sophisticated sonar technology—a revolution in sonar. CHIRP stands for Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse. The technology provides far better target separation, clarity, and sharpness than any standard sonar system. With Garmin dual-channel 1 kW CHIRP, you can choose from different combinations of frequency ranges such as low/mid, low/high, or mid/high to distinguish between fish species and work with different cone widths. Transducer sold separately.
The clearest scan images on the water
The use of CHIRP technology for ClearVü and SideVü scanning sonar increases the resolution, target separation, and clarity of sonar images of fish and structure passing below and beside your boat. The technology is built into our new GPSMAP xsv chartplotter/sonar and the GSD 25, both of which combine CHIRP fishfinder and CHIRP ClearVü and SideVü scanning sonar in one transducer. Transducer sold separately.
