Description
The Garmin GT8HW-IH is the first high-frequency CHIRP transducer for inboard mounting. Mounting on the inside of the hull is easy and reliable, and due to the clean flow of water over the hull, proper inboard mounting provides excellent sonar display, even at high speed.
This transducer features wide-beam CHIRP fishfinder (150-240 kHz) and 250 W of transmit power—perfect for finding fish in shallow to medium water. It can be used with a GT30-TM stern-mount transducer and adapter cable, so you can maintain depth readings at high speeds but gain scanning functionality at trolling speed.
