The gWind™ Wireless 2 transducer offers an easy-to-install solution that eliminates the need to run wires through masts up to 15 m (50 ft). Accurate wind signals are transmitted via an ANT ® connection directly to a GNX™ Wind instrument or a compatible Garmin GPSMAP® 8400 series or GPSMAP 7400 series chartplotter. The transducer features the renowned Nexus ® dual-fin technology with a 3-blade propeller that provides accurate wind speed and a stable wind angle in light wind conditions. Also available in Wind and Sailing Packages (sold separately) that can be used as stand-alone wind systems or expanded into complete networked systems via NMEA 2000 ® .
