This plastic gas cylinder locker with remote ventilation is designed for built-in installation and secure storage of a 3 kg gas cylinder with its associated pressure regulator as part of an onboard gas system.
The locker features remote ventilation via a 16 mm diameter hose. The ventilation is thus ducted away from the locker via a separate hose instead of being integrated into the hatch. The gas hose or pipe is routed through the included watertight fitting.
The visible front measures 370 × 370 mm, while the required cutout dimension is 305 × 305 mm. The locker has a depth of 250 mm. The hatch is made of UV-resistant Luran, which is suitable for the maritime environment.
The gas cylinder locker is compliant with ISO 10239 for LPG systems in small craft. For installation, a ventilation hose with a diameter of 16 mm must be used, and positioning as well as connection must be carried out in accordance with the requirements for onboard gas installations.
