The GMI 20 digital marine instrument displays are perfectly designed for both powerboats and sailboats. The large and clear 4" color display with extra large numbers that are easy to read from a distance, has a 170 degree viewing angle and is designed to provide a clear view of depth, speed, wind and over 100 other marine and boating parameters.
A lens bonded to the glass prevents blurring and improves contrast. Daylight readability is enhanced with a high-contrast color scheme. For improved nighttime visibility, you can choose between red/black, green/black, or the standard night mode color scheme, along with a dimmer control. The screens can be set to auto-scroll, switching between pages without your intervention. This is especially beneficial for sailors, as it allows you to install the unit(s) in multiple locations on your boat. Standard profiles can be customized for powerboating, sailing, fishing, engine/fuel, plus several other user-specific profiles. Power is supplied via the NMEA 2000® network.
Additionally, the GMI 20 also features a dedicated racing stopwatch that counts down and up and has an internal beeper. Two attachment covers are included so the GMI 20 can be adapted to the new GPSMAP® 500/700 series, GPSMAP 8000 Glass Helm series or older Garmin chartplotters.
