If you own a 20- to 40-foot (6- to 12-meter) sailboat without a wind system or with an older wind system onboard, our GNX Wind marine instrument is an excellent choice to provide the accurate, reliable data you need to make informed decisions.
The GNX Wind features an easy-to-read, black and white LCD display with bonded glass and customizable backlighting for easy viewing from any angle and even from a distance. Background colors can be customized to almost any preferred color for contrast and visibility that works best in all lighting conditions. It can be connected to the NMEA 2000 network to display 2 data fields and a digital wind rose simultaneously to show true and apparent wind data, steering indicator, boat speed and more. Auto-scroll function switches between screens for easy, hands-free operation. Low power consumption of 350 mW in daylight (no backlight) and 400 mW at night (medium backlight) is perfect for sailboats. Customizable configurations include more than 15 key marine parameters for wind, sea and navigation. Easy to install, either flush-mount or recessed. It can even wirelessly connect to a compatible chartplotter or quatix® 3 GPS marine smartwatch to stream data directly to your wrist. Also available in the GNX Wired sailing package.
