This GOK CGV gas cylinder valve is a manually operated shut-off valve for butane gas cylinders with a GAZ/G.3 connection. The valve is designed for cylinders with a filling weight of up to 5 kg and has an outlet for a pressure regulator with a Shell-F connection.
The gas flow is opened and closed using the knurled handwheel. The valve features an integrated safety and pressure relief valve that protects against overpressure. On this butane variant, the safety valve activation pressure is 14 bar, and the blue plug identifies the butane version.
The valve body is made of brass. The cylinder connection is GAZ/G.3 with an M16 × 1.5 right-hand thread, while the regulator outlet is AG Shell-F/G.2 with a W21.8 × 1/14 left-hand thread. The connection configuration allows a Shell-F compatible pressure regulator to be connected to a smaller butane gas cylinder with a GAZ connection.
The gas cylinder valve is suitable as a component in LPG installations on board boats as well as in relevant camping installations. A pressure regulator with item no. 50.013.12 can be connected directly to the valve's Shell-F outlet. The regulator can subsequently be connected to pipes 50.013.25, 50.013.26, or 50.013.27. A gasket for the GAZ inlet is available as GOK spare part 20 015 29.
The valve's manufacturer part number is GOK 09 737 05, also written as 0973705. Always check the gas type, cylinder connection, and regulator connection before installation.
