Corrosion-resistant medium-pressure gas hose RVS 8 x RST 8 from GOK is an 800 mm flexible hose assembly for connecting fittings, gas-consuming appliances, and pipelines. It is intended for medium-pressure installations with a maximum permissible pressure of PS 10 bar and can be used in marine and caravan installations.
The hose features an RVS 8 compression fitting on one end and a smooth RST 8 pipe nozzle on the other. The RVS side is equipped with an M-MS type union nut and a D-MS type cutting/clamping ring, while the RST 8 side terminates in a smooth pipe with an 8 mm outer diameter.
The hose assembly is made of rubber with textile reinforcement. The connections are made of brass, and the press sleeves are made of stainless steel. The construction is corrosion-resistant and cold-resistant down to -30 °C. The manufacturer's specified hose dimensions are 6.3 × 3.5 mm.
It can be connected to M5 fittings, the shut-off valve with item no. 50.013.14, and a smooth 8 mm pipe nozzle on, for example, a stove or other kitchen appliance. Compatibility must be checked based on the RVS 8 and RST 8 connections as well as the installation's permissible pressure.
The hose assembly is DVGW-type tested and supplied with markings indicating the year of replacement. The manufacturer part number is 0444004 and may also be indicated as 04-440-04 or 04 440 04.
