This GOK corrosion-resistant medium-pressure gas hose RVS 8 × RST 8 is a 1000 mm long, flexible hose assembly for gas installations. It is designed for connections between gas fittings, gas-consuming appliances, and fixed pipelines in boats, motorhomes, and caravans, among others.
The hose assembly features an RVS 8 compression fitting at one end and an RST 8 pipe nozzle at the other. The RVS side is supplied with a union nut type M-MS and a cutting/clamping ring type D-MS. The RST 8 end can be connected to an 8 mm smooth pipe nozzle, such as on a stove or other cooking appliance.
The flexible hose is made of rubber with a textile inlay. The connections are made of brass, while the crimping sleeves are made of stainless steel. The construction is corrosion-resistant and developed for medium-pressure installations with a maximum allowable pressure of PS 10 bar.
The hose is cold-resistant down to −30 °C and has a DVGW type-examination certificate. It comes with a label indicating the replacement year, making it easier to keep track of the hose assembly's scheduled replacement.
