GOK corrosion-resistant medium-pressure gas hose RVS 8 x RVS 8 is a 400 mm flexible hose line for LPG and cylinder gas installations. It is used for connections between fittings, gas-consuming appliances, and pipelines and is part of the GOK Marine Line.
The hose has an RVS 8 compression fitting at both ends. The connections are designed for pipes with an 8 mm external diameter and consist of a union nut type M-MS and a cutting/clamping ring type D-MS.
The hose line is made of rubber with a textile insert. The connections are made of brass, while the crimping sleeves are made of stainless steel. The corrosion-resistant design is suitable for gas installations in marine, camping, and caravan environments.
The nominal hose length is 400 mm and includes the hose itself including the end sleeves, but excluding fittings and adapters. The hose dimension is specified as 6.3 × 3.5 mm.
The hose line has a maximum allowable pressure of PS 10 bar, is cold-resistant down to -30 °C, and has a DVGW type-examination certificate. A label on the hose indicates the year of replacement and supports planned inspection and replacement.
The manufacturer number for this 400 mm variant in standard packaging is 04 440 06 / 0444006.
