Corrosion-resistant medium-pressure gas hose RVS 8 × RVS 8 from GOK is a 600 mm flexible hose line for gas installations. It is intended for connection between gas fittings, gas-consuming appliances, and fixed pipelines in marine, camping, and caravan installations.
Both ends have an RVS 8 compression fitting for 8 mm pipe systems. The connections consist of M-MS type union nuts and D-MS type cutting/compression rings. The configuration with the same connection at both ends makes the hose suitable where the installation requires RVS 8 × RVS 8.
The hose is made of rubber with textile reinforcement. The connections are made of brass, while the press sleeves are made of stainless steel. The construction is corrosion-resistant and intended for demanding environments on board as well as in camping and caravan installations. The specified hose dimension is 6.3 × 3.5 mm.
The maximum permitted pressure is PS 10 bar, and the hose is cold-resistant down to −30 °C. The product has a DVGW type-examination certificate and is supplied with a label or tag indicating the replacement year.
