This straight brass bulkhead compression fitting for 8 mm pipes from GOK is intended for fixed pipe penetration through a bulkhead or wall in a gas installation. The model is SV-MS with RVS 8 compression connection on both sides.
The fitting connects to metallic pipes with an 8 mm outside diameter. Each connection uses an M-MS type union nut and a D-MS type cutting ring, which secures and seals the pipe when correctly assembled.
The bulkhead fitting is passed through the bulkhead and secured to create a stable transition between the pipes on each side. The maximum documented bulkhead thickness is 16 mm. The design is made of brass and belongs to the light series L.
The fitting complies with EN ISO 8434-1 with the designation BHSC. DIN 8434-1 is the corresponding former standard reference. The fitting type also has a DVGW type-examination certificate according to DIN 3387-1 for connections in metallic gas pipes.
When used with copper or aluminium pipes, a reinforcing sleeve must be installed inside the pipe. For aluminium pipes, the reinforcing sleeve must be made of steel. A brass reinforcing sleeve for 8 × 1 mm pipes is available as GOK item no. 08-093-00 and is relevant for suitable copper pipes. Installation and selection of components must follow the applicable assembly instructions and technical requirements for the gas installation.
The manufacturer number for this SV-MS variant is 07-880-00, also written as 0788000.
