GOK medium-pressure LPG hose G 1/4 LH-ÜM x RVS 8 in a 400 mm version is a flexible, pre-assembled hose line for LPG and bottled gas installations. It is used for connections between fittings, gas-consuming appliances, and pipelines.
The hose has a G 1/4 LH-ÜM union nut at one end and an RVS 8 compression fitting at the other. The union nut has a 1/4" left-hand thread, while the RVS 8 connection is intended for direct connection to a pipe with an 8 mm outer diameter.
The hose line is made of rubber with textile reinforcement and features metal crimp fittings at the ends. The hose dimensions are specified as 6.3 × 3.5 mm. The maximum permitted pressure is 10 bar, and the design is cold-resistant down to -30 °C.
The specified length of 400 mm includes the hose material itself, including the crimping sleeves. Fittings and adapters are not included in the length measurement, so the total end-to-end length is greater than 400 mm.
The hose line holds a DVGW type-examination certificate and is supplied with a marking indicating the replacement year. Ensure that the installation has a compatible G 1/4 LH mating connection with a suitable conical seal as well as an 8 mm outer diameter pipe on the RVS 8 side.
