Medium-pressure gas hose G 1/4 LH x RVS 8 from GOK is a 600 mm flexible hose line for LPG gas installations. It is used for connections between gas fittings, appliances, and fixed pipelines in marine, caravan, and camping installations.
The hose has a G 1/4 LH union nut with left-hand thread at one end and an RVS 8 compression fitting for 8 mm pipe at the other. RVS 8 refers to the connection's cutting ring and compression fitting and does not mean that the hose itself is made of stainless steel.
The hose line is made of rubber with textile reinforcement. The end fittings are made of brass, while the press sleeves are made of stainless steel. The hose dimension is specified as 6.3 × 3.5 mm, and the construction is corrosion-resistant for use in demanding gas installations.
The maximum permissible pressure is PS 10 bar, and the hose is cold-resistant down to -30 °C. The corrosion-resistant medium-pressure hose line has a DVGW type-examination certificate and is supplied with the year of replacement marked on it.
Before installation, check that the gas system's connections are G 1/4 LH and RVS 8, and that the hose length of 600 mm is suitable for the installation.
