This walkable inspection hatch with a non-slip surface is a grey, rectangular hatch for flush mounting on recreational craft. The nominal size is 350 × 600 mm, while the actual external dimensions are 345 × 595 mm. The clear opening measures 250 × 500 mm.
The robust, non-slip surface is intended for areas where the hatch needs to be walkable. The lid has an opening angle of 160° and is designed to be removable, providing good access to the space behind the hatch.
The closure is splash-proof and fitted with a neoprene gasket between the lid and the hatch. The construction has a tightness rating of 2 and should not be confused with an IP-rated or completely watertight hatch.
The hatch can be used for access to lockers, storage compartments, storage rooms, and fish wells, as well as as a bulkhead hatch. The flush mount allows for a seamless installation in the relevant mounting surface.
It is suitable for installation on recreational craft in design categories A, B, C, and D, as well as installation areas II a, III, and IV. The construction is CE-approved based on UNI EN ISO 12216:2004 and type-tested in accordance with Directive 2013/53/EU.
A locking kit with item no. 20.093.00 can be installed as an optional extra and is not included as standard.
